Crexendo®’s Executive Team Sits Down with Telecom Reseller to Talk Three Million Users and More

If running a highly successful organization and making the rounds at ITEXPO wasn’t enough, Doug Gaylor, President and COO, and Jon Brinton, CRO of Crexendo® managed to make time and sit down with Telecom Reseller’s Doug Green to talk about everything from reaching three-million end users to how we’re one of the few companies offering a UCaaS and CCaaS solution. Mr. Green brought out the best in our executive team, and it was an incredibly intriguing and enlightening conversation you won’t want to miss. We’ll give you a summary of the discussion below.

Mr. Green kicked things off by congratulating Crexendo® on its rapid growth since they acquired NetSapiens®, going from 1.7 million users to three million in a little over a year and a half. It’s quite the accomplishment, and Green was curious – why the success? To sum it up simply, our platform is fantastic. When supporting that many end-users, it’s imperative that you have a reliable, feature-rich platform. Our go-to market model of sessions not seats is very affordable compared to competitors that charge on a per-seat basis. It’s an exceptional, feature-rich product that has great margins for our licensees. Our platform is powerful, but simple to manage, and easy-to-use, which helps them be very successful. 

What also stands out to us is that we are getting more and more partners who already offer voice. They have been on other platforms and found the scalability and reliability were not there when they needed it. They heard from their peers how simple to manage and use our platform has been. Even better, those same partners are leveraging our extensive APIs to customize and embed themselves in their end users’ organizations. This results in higher value and longer-lasting relationships, and they wrap all that up by branding it and billing it as their own.

Another significant differentiator is that Crexendo® is one of the few organizations with an integrated UCaaS and CCaaS solution. Currently, two challenges organizations face are employee experience and whether companies have the right tools to keep their hybrid or remote workforce engaged. The other challenge is with customer experience. Experience with the brand is more important for younger consumers than the product itself, so Crexendo® released an omnichannel Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) offering, which is going great, and our users love it. It enables the customer to reach out to you on social media and SMS, for example, while giving an agent credible tools to deliver exceptional customer service. We’re excited to be layering that on top of our UCaaS platform. 

Green was also interested in finding out if you partner with Crexendo®, in addition to your excellent technology, are there other support systems? Yes. In our go-to-market strategy, companies can choose various ways to partner with us. We have an agent type of program, and quite a few of our partners have a white label program, so they provide a whole support wrapper that helps smaller companies who can’t invest in their platform build a white label offer under their brand. 

When they’re big enough or ready to make a commitment, they can invest in our platform. There are two ways to do it – they can build their own UCaaS solution in their data centers and infrastructure, or we’ll host it in our data centers either in North America or Europe and provide that wrapper for them. This way, they don’t have to worry about securing space or all the headaches of managing the infrastructure. Remember, 80 percent of the value of solutions is above the infrastructure, so why bother with the 20 percent? Let a trusted partner like Crexendo® take care of that, and you focus on selling your offering. As a result, we’re seeing that fifty percent of our new licensees are choosing us to host it for them in our infrastructure. Our largest partner is pushing $75 million in revenue, which is substantial.
