Channel Partners 2023 Conference and Expo in Las Vegas was a busy and productive four days for Crexendo. Our leadership and Channel Sales Team used this valuable time to reconnect with existing Partners and Customers and introduce our award-winning solutions to new ones. Interest in Crexendo was at a new level, evidenced by high traffic at our booth and the increasing number of conversations with the Crexendo Channel Team as the days went on. Now that the show is in the books, it’s time to reflect on what we saw and learned.
A networking meetup kicked off the show on Sunday evening, and various sessions and keynotes began on Monday. More sessions followed on Tuesday, with a selection of informative presentations. The Expo Hall opened at 3:00 pm, and as the crowd filtered in, traffic at the Crexendo booth increased steadily. Crexendo founder Steve Mahaylo and President and COO Doug Gaylor greeted and spoke with our Partners and Customers. The Channel Sales Team fielded many questions about the Crexendo software platform, our VIP UCaaS offering, and our Omnichannel VIP CX solution. ChannelVision TV interviewed Doug Gaylor about Crexendo passing the 3 million user milestone, as featured on the cover of the April/May issue of ChannelVision Magazine. Several booth attendees played our Giant Jenga game, with one of the players getting the Jenga up to 35 levels high! The fun and exchange of information continued until the Expo Hall closed at 7 pm.

The Crexendo Channel Team started early on Wednesday, conducting one-on-one meetings with various Partners. The show featured more informational sessions in the morning and early afternoon, with the Expo Hall opening at 2:00 pm. Interest in Crexendo and traffic at the booth remained high throughout the day, with the Channel Team continuing their conversations with Partners and Customers. The Jenga table remained busy with players vying for Amazon gift cards. When the Expo Hall closed at 6:00 pm, the Crexendo Team was ready to unwind at two Crexendo-sponsored events at the Flight Club and the minus5 Ice Bar at The Venetian Hotel.

Crexendo/Poly Reception at Flight Club
The Crexendo Team headed from the Expo Hall to Flight Club Social Darts for a two-hour reception co-sponsored by Poly. Crexendo leadership and staff relaxed and mingled with Partners and friends over food and drinks after a long day on the show floor. Some lively dart games took place, and from the cheers from the playing areas, it was clear everyone was having a good time. The time flew by, and at 8:30, the team headed to the Jenne reception at minus5.

To say the minus5 ice bar was a cool experience is an understatement. As the Crexendo team approached the door, representatives from Jenne greeted us, then minus5 staff handed each of us long winter parkas and gloves. We headed inside through two large doors into a blast of cold air — the temperature inside was -5 degrees Celsius, hence the venue’s name. Everything in the room was made of ice – the bar, glasses, tables, chairs, signage, ice sculptures, and more. It was chilly but a lot of fun! The Crexendo Team mixed with guests and relaxed over drinks for the rest of the evening, reconnecting with friends and making new connections.

Thursday morning, the Channel Team finished the show with a few final meetings, two hours of booth time, and wrap-up conversations with some of our existing Partners and Customers. When the clock struck noon, the announcement came that Channel Partners 2023 was over, and the Crexendo Team shook hands over what was a successful effort. And as we look back at the week in Las Vegas, our valued Partners gave us five notable takeaways from the show.

We love our partners; as always, they gave us great feedback at the show. In our conversations with them, our Partners made us aware of the following:
- Crexendo Commission Rates Are Significantly Higher Than Our Competitors
Several Partners mentioned that the commissions they get with some of our competitors had dropped sharply, while Crexendo continues to pay the same high percentage rate we have been all along. Crexendo’s high commission rate was a repeated topic of conversation. - System Implementation Is Much Smoother With Crexendo
On more than one occasion, Partners talked about how Crexendo implementations go more smoothly than with our competitors. They commented positively on how we assign a dedicated Project Manager to each customer and have no additional charges for implementation. Partners also noted our #1 rankings for Ease of Setup and Ease of Use on G2.com. - Crexendo Support Tops That of Our Competitors
Partners consistently mentioned how Crexendo’s customer service and support are superior to other providers they deal with. Having a U.S.-based support team and offering support at no additional charge were critical differentiators. They were also unsurprised that our customers voted Crexendo Best Support on G2.com. - Customers Want Integrated UCaaS and CCaaS
The theme of UCaaS and CCaaS convergence was present at the show overall. There was great interest and additional conversations when Partners spoke with our Channel Team about our seamless integration of UCaaS and CCaaS in our Omnichannel solution. - Customers Are Focused On Mobility Using Softphones and Mobile Apps
Several Partners mentioned that customers increasingly focus on desktop softphones and smartphone apps to enable mobility and facilitate remote and hybrid work. This is significant because Crexendo makes it easy for Partners to offer their customers a flexible, affordable, mobile cloud business communication solution.
The 2023 Channel Partners Conference and Expo was a big success for Crexendo and our Channel Team. We were able to reconnect with existing valued Partners, make some new connections, and have some fun with our industry friends.
